If the limited selection of colors is preventing you from buying the new BMW iX3, there\u2019s some positive news. We\u2019ve already covered the color options available at launch<\/a>, but if they don’t meet your taste, more selections are coming soon. We spoke with the vehicle\u2019s product manager, who verified that three more finishes will be available shortly.<\/p>\n

At the iX3\u2019s global media launch in Spain, Mark Berger revealed that Fire Red\/Vegas Red<\/a> will be offered for cars produced from March 2026. Also, beginning in that month, Space Silver will feature a Frozen variant with a matte finish. The finish we are most excited to see is Eucalyptus Green, which will start production at the Debrecen body plant in March.<\/p>\n

Berger also noted that BMW is pursuing certification of its new Hungarian facility for Individual finishes<\/a>. As reported earlier, the first of these customized colors is anticipated to launch in the middle of next year, but it\u2019s premature to say which hues will be available first.<\/p>\n

Additional customization opportunities will arise from M Performance Parts<\/a>. While we’ve glimpsed some of these features, Berger confirmed they won\u2019t be ready until July 2026. The introductory offerings will encompass high-gloss black accents, body graphics, and a roof spoiler. More substantial enhancements are expected with the M Performance variant, likely to enter production in July, potentially as the iX3 M60. The complete M model is predicted to debut by late 2027.<\/p>\n

In the accompanying half-hour video, BMW supplies a detailed overview of what the iX3 will provide at launch and what will be rolled out later in its product life cycle. For instance, the white steering wheel<\/a> will be available starting March 2026, but only with the Digital White interior theme.<\/p>\n

Accessories haven’t been extensively covered yet, but BMW shared some insights during our discussion. Customers will have the opportunity to equip the iX3 with a roof rack designed for an aerodynamic cargo box or a ski and snowboard holder. Additionally, a roof-mounted bike carrier and a rear carrier capable of accommodating up to three bikes will be available. A rear cargo box will also be offered.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re in search of a less practical yet arguably more stylish alternative, the iX4 is on the horizon. A camouflaged prototype<\/a> was recently spotted, with a likely world premiere planned for next year.
