As far as performance braking systems go, brands don’t get anymore prestigious than Brembo. These folks have been supplying the anchors for the world’s most high performance vehicles for decades. In our books, that makes them the perfect candidate to source the brakes for your own build from.

The Brembo Gran Turismo package is one that leans on all of that expertise and history, taking several lessons learned from more extreme uses, and compiling them into an epic street brake kit. While not an out-and-out race or track day-spec system, Gran Turismos are billed as being a great choice for tuners and modifiers who have spent some time tinkering under the hood of their street-focused project car.

More power and more speed means more work for your brakes, and after a while, that’ll cause the stock ones to fade. That’s where these beefier Gran Turismos come in handy.

Brembo GT Kits are a complete braking system full of motorsports-derived components, and as such, Brembo reckons they offer “unmatched levels of technology” in the performance aftermarket.

More specifically, Brembo Gran Turismo’s feature the Italian manufacturer’s stat-of-the-art aluminum fixed-mount calipers with opposed pistons. Depending on the specific system and in increasing order of performance, those calipers may have a two-piece, monobloc, or even billet monobloc construction. On top of that, you can also choose from either cross-drilled or slotted one-piece, or two-piece oversized rotors/discs.

Brembo Gran Turismo brake systems are also fine tuned for the best possible application alongside the running gear of the specific marques and models that Brembo caters for.
