BMW Unveils 24 M Vehicles in Forza Horizon 6

Forza Horizon 6 has launched featuring 24 BMW M models, which includes a special Forza-exclusive variant of the new M2 created specifically for the game. This recent iteration of the beloved open-world racing franchise, which began in 2012, is set in Japan and includes nine unique geographical regions.

The vast map showcases the lively neon-lit streets of Tokyo, picturesque mountain roads, coastal paths, rice paddies, shrine grounds, and vistas of Mount Fuji. Players commence their journey as tourists and collect wristbands at the in-game Horizon Festival to unlock further races. Additionally, there is a side mode called Discover Japan, which includes Touge Battles and hill-climb events that highlight Japan's mountain road racing heritage. The game represents all four seasons, each with their own distinctive foliage, weather conditions, and ambient sounds, enabling races to take place during both day and night periods.

A Distinct M2 Produced for the Game

The particular vehicle showcased by BMW is the M2 Forza Edition, which is a digital-only variant as opposed to a physical special edition. Within the game, this pre-tuned M2 has an A 700 performance preset and bodykit, and it can be obtained by reaching Horizon Legend Tier 5 in the Collection Journal, meaning it cannot be bought at dealerships.

BMW’s Enduring Partnership with Forza

BMW has appeared in every Forza title since the series began, with its other labels, Mini and Rolls-Royce, also featured. The sim-racing segment, Forza Motorsport, celebrated a complete BMW Month in January 2025, presenting a specialized BMW Tour across four racing series, along with reward vehicles such as the M4 GT3, the 1976 3.0 CSL, and a Le Mans-spec M Hybrid V8, which included a contest entry for a trip to Le Mans.
